Our team comprised of architects, structural engineers, building surveyors, quantity surveyors, and delay experts, assessed the construction and defects, including those relating to fire safety, weathertightness, and the structural integrity of the external walls and roofs, providing independent advice on design, construction, delays, and remedial costs to our private landlord client in pursuit of resolving the dispute.

Our interdisciplinary team of building surveyors, quantity surveyors, and drone pilots worked together to identify defects relating to the weathertightness of the roof and internal fire compartmentation, and to deliver impartial, evidence-based expert advice that assisted in resolving the claim for our housing association client.

Our expert architects and drone pilots captured and analysed high-resolution data on cracking in the rendered facades from the air, reducing the initial costs and the scale of traditional access methods typically required to identify a systemic pattern of defects, leading to the preparation of impartial remediation strategy options to aid decision-making by our private client.

Our interdisciplinary team of architects, MEP engineers, and 3D digital modelling analysts worked together to investigate issues with servicing coordination on site and the level of detail in the 3D construction model for our building contractor client.
FIRE IN A NURSING HOME

Our team of experts were instructed to investigate a fire at a local authority nursing home during felt roof repairs involving propane torches. Recovery against the contractor was initiated for failing to implement proper safety controls.
