He has led architectural teams on award-winning, large-scale projects across Europe and the Middle East, collaborating with multidisciplinary and offshore teams. His international portfolio spans sectors including healthcare, education, mixed-use, retail, office, residential, and hospitality, with project values reaching £1 billion. Jason’s technical expertise and experience as an expert witness have covered fire safety, water ingress, general construction design and detailing, as well as professional negligence. He has been appointed on over 50 occasions, where the form of dispute resolution has ranged from negotiation and mediation to adjudication, arbitration, and litigation.
Nick Barham

Nick has over 25 years experience working as a civil and structural design engineer on complex multi-disciplinary projects including residential, commercial, refurbishment and redevelopment of historic buildings, highways, energy, and other infrastructure projects. In recent years, he has provided technical and contractual advice to lawyers, engineers, contractors, clients and insurers, acting as expert witness in adjudications, arbitrations and court proceedings. His concise reporting style and strong articulation skills have resulted in significant repeat business, and he is increasingly leading multidiscipline cases with several supporting technical experts.

Pietro is a cost estimating director with 16 years of experience in cost estimating and project services within the oil and gas and energy industries. His comprehensive skill set encompasses estimating, budgeting, cost management, project planning, design, risk analysis and assessment, and data documentation for benchmarking.
He supports project teams in meeting cost and schedule targets through effective estimating, forecasting, and cost control, and collaborates with lead disciplines to assess staffing needs and delivers regular progress and financial reports.
He specialises in full life-cycle cost estimating, including CAPEX, OPEX, and ABEX, for diverse assets such as LNG terminals, refineries, subsea systems, and energy transition projects.
Rab Eadie

Building Services Engineer
Rab is a chartered engineer with 20 years of global experience in complex construction projects with focus on the installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems. Rab has been appointed as technical expert on more than 30 occasions and has engaged in expert witness work in international arbitration, litigation, adjudication, and mediation for disputed values over of £300 million; supported projects valued in excess of £3 billion. He has advised counsel on matters across Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. Rab has previously worked as a principal contractor on major projects in the aviation, IT, and energy sectors. He has successfully managed a variety of specialist subcontract packages and a large building services workforce.

Nicolas is a registered professional engineer with extensive experience in materials engineering, corrosion, materials testing, and research and development. He has spent over 15 years in the fields of chemical and materials engineering working in markets spanning from education and research to industrial and military. Specifically, his experience extends to diversified industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, pulp and paper, water and wastewater, and power and energy. Nicolas has worked extensively on the development of innovative materials and processes, materials selection, field failure analysis, emergency repairs, and redesign of existing large industrial equipment. He is highly knowledgeable of most electrochemical tests and thermo-mechanical tests and has evaluated the reliability of materials and products using accelerated life tests.

John is a chartered electrical and electronic engineer and a leading expert in forensic and accident investigations, with over 20 years of global experience in telecommunications, power, and energy, including generation, storage, and distribution.
He specialises in fire investigations, engineering failures, and personal injury analysis, delivering critical forensic insights to identify root causes and support the resolution of complex incidents. He is an expert in wind, hydro, solar, battery storage, and nuclear power generation incidents, providing comprehensive assessments of complex engineering challenges. John is a GWO-certified, WINDA-registered expert in tall structure investigations, with extensive experience in project management, tower climbing, rescue operations, RF safety, and MEWP use. Gregg Davidson

Gregg is a chartered engineer with eight years of experience working as a mechanical engineer within the built environment. He brings technical expertise in HVAC and public health system design, leading MEP development within multidisciplinary teams from concept and detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and handover, particularly across healthcare, defence, and commercial sectors. Gregg brings extensive experience in supervising factory acceptance testing and inspecting M&E installations for quality and compliance. He has supported Tier 1 contractors across new builds, retrofits, and refurbishments, with expertise in service coordination, CDM/HSE risk management, buildability reviews, and handover planning. Roger has over 40 years of experience as a chartered building surveyor and strategic facilities management consultant. He is a building fabric surveyor and expert witness for built assets within most private and public sectors, including housing. He has extensive international experience including five years working in Hong Kong where he has managed large multi-skilled inspection teams with engineers and other specialists.
He is an industry expert on building information systems, data management, and performance reporting. He has provided development monitoring on very large construction projects on behalf of funding bodies. Roger has extensive experience of defect pathology, estate maintenance, and due diligence reporting.

Rob is a civil engineer with over 35 years of experience of design and build multidisciplined infrastructure projects. These include major projects in marine, water/wastewater, energy (including nuclear and renewables), tunnelling and complex geotechnical schemes, highways, rail, and tram systems, and industrial. Rob has been involved in the resolution of multi-disciplined disputes at a senior director level, procurement policy and risk mitigation, tender strategy, asset management and program delivery using multiple partners. He works closely with his delay and quantum global colleagues providing leadership and management in complex cases.

Matthew applies 4D planning to validate construction programmes, improve communication, increase operational efficiency, and proactively identify risks early for effective mitigation. He also leverages the technology in later stages to support dispute resolution by clarifying project accountability through data-driven insights.

David holds over 35 years of experience in the marine and ports sector. Having worked for contractors and designers and, for the last 15 years, operators, David has extensive knowledge of different design and construction techniques combined with the integration of construction works with port operations and dredging activities. His experience extends to associated works including pavement design, cranage, and maintenance for both container and general cargo ports.

Craig is a chemical engineer with over 30 years of international experience across a variety of technical corporate governance roles. He specialises in hydrocarbon asset development, petroleum economics, project management, process safety management, process engineering, production optimisation, flow assurance, plant commissioning, and operations. Craig has significant experience in the upstream oil and gas sector, with 21 years as Schlumberger’s lead chemical engineer globally. He has been the lead expert in many major international arbitration cases, including in North Africa, Latin America, and the former Soviet Union, and he has advised on the resolution of domestic disputes in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Zyad is a registered professional engineer in Florida with over 17 years of experience in power plants, heavy industrial engineering, operations, maintenance, root cause failure analysis, project management, and implementing quality control and quality assurance procedures. His areas of expertise include root cause and failure mechanism analysis, engineering design and equipment selection, construction, project management, operations, maintenance, feasibility studies, economic analysis, and safety programs.
Specific areas of experience include the utility power industry and the design and modification of mechanical, as well as plant systems such as pumps, heat exchangers, diesel generators, steam and gas turbines, high energy piping, piping supports, boilers and heat recovery steam generators. Mike has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. He started his career working for contractors on tunnelling projects that included shaft sinking and tunnel construction using Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), drill and blast and hand mining techniques. He then moved into consultancy to work on major projects such as the Channel Tunnel, the Jubilee Line Extension and Crossrail.

Simon is an experienced chartered architect and expert witness with over 40 years of private practice and industry experience, with considerable experience in façade and fire compliance issues. He has been appointed on a variety of disputes, producing CPR 35 reports focused on the performance of architects, contractors, and the professional team. Simon has designed and supervised major buildings, both public and commercial commissions. His background includes plant engineering and design, economics, construction, operations, accident analysis and prevention, research and development, environmental evaluations, and environmental and industrial safety regulations. He has performed research, modelled, and reported on the fate-and-transport of chemicals in the environment, including measuring and estimating emissions from chemical plants, predicting their fate-and-transport in the environment via air, surface water and groundwater pathways, and estimating their impacts on the surrounding community.

Sam’s experience also includes major control system design responsibility in the chemical, paper, and film industries. He has extensive experience commissioning largescale factory automation systems. She is also a visiting lecturer at the Architectural Association and the University of Westminster where she teaches RIBA Part III.

She has a special interest in fire safety, including issues relating to compartmentation, timber construction and modular construction, as well as cladding. She also writes accommodation reports for persons who have incurred personal injury.
